Born in Yekaterinburg, Russia

In 2008 graduated from VGIK (All-Russian State University of Cinematography, Russia, Moscow), non-fiction film study, course mentored by Emmy Award winner Sergey Miroshnichenko.

Documentary films and commercials directed by Georgiy received prizes at major Russian Film and Advertising Festival, including RED APPLE (Moscow Advertising Festival), STALKER Human Right Film Festival, etc.

Resides in Washington, DC (USA) and currently enrolled in Master of Arts in Film and Video program, School of Communication, American Unversity as a Fulbright graduate fellow.

2005 – up to present time
Creative director and filmdirector of Non-government organization “Laboratory of Social Advertisement”. Author of more than 50 PSA`s, winner of more than 30 awards for social adverising on major Russian and several international Advertising Festivals.

2008 - up to present time
Programmer and coordinator, documentary program "Free thought" within Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF);

2010 - up to present time
Buyer, programmer for weekly primetime TV-show "Watch and Discuss" for Kultura Channel (Rossia-K) with the screening of world best creative documentaries with following in-studio discussion.

In 2007 attended WORDSHOP BBDO Advertising School and Berlinale Talent Campus

Lecturer of film editing and basics of filmmaking in Higher School of Economics (2009-2011), VGIK (2009-2011).

2007-2010 - programming director, head of the International Committee of the VGIK Student International Film Festival.
